How to create an auction
The Create Auction form sets up your auction’s identity and schedule. Seven fields are required; the rest make the auction look and feel like your league. Budgets, teams and bidding rules come next, in the Auction Details tab.

- Cricket is selected by default.
- Choose Other to type a sport that is not in the list (for example Hockey or Tennis).
- You can change the sport later only until a tournament is linked to the auction.
- If the auction already has teams or players, saving a new sport asks you to confirm (Change auction sport?).

Add organizers
Add Organiser
OptionalGive other people access to manage this auction with you. Select Add Organiser, enter their mobile number and save. Use Save and Add Another to add several. Co-organizers can edit every tab, run the live screen and projector, and clone the auction; only you (the creator) can delete it.
- Enter a valid mobile number with its country code.
Hide Organizer Contact Information
OptionalTurn this on to hide the organizer phone number on the public auction card.
Common mistakes
- The Create button stays disabled until every required field is valid. Look for a red message under a field.
- Pick the end date after the start date. Picking it first can leave it before the new start date.
- Registration deadlines must be before the auction start. Set the start date and time with that in mind.
- Pick the right sport now. Once a tournament is linked it can no longer be changed.
