How to register your team

Your organizer shares a link; you open it, log in and tell them about your team. It takes a minute. Your team goes to the organizer as Pending, and they approve it and confirm your payment. How organizers set up the link and fee is in the Team registration and Payment methods guides.

Quick steps

  1. Open the team registration link your organizer shared, and log in with your mobile number (see the Log in and profiles guide).
  2. Fill in Team Name, Team Owner Name and Team Owner Contact, and add a team logo if you have one.
  3. Check the Keyboard Key. Keep the suggested letter or pick another free one.
  4. If there is a fee, pick a Payment Mode. For Scanner, pay by UPI and upload the payment screenshot.
  5. Select Submit (or Proceed to Payment for Online) and wait for the welcome screen.
  6. Your team is Pending until the organizer approves it. Ask them to confirm, and to mark your fee Paid.

Your team

  • Upload Team Logo

    Optional

    Your team badge, shown on your team card and on the live auction screens. It is uploaded when you select Submit.

    • JPG or PNG, up to 10 MB. A square image looks best.

  • Team Name

    Required

    The name everyone sees on the auction page, the live screen and the results.

    Example: Lakeside Lions

  • Team Owner Name

    Required

    Your name, as the person who owns the team and bids for it.

    Example: Rohan Desai

  • Team Owner Contact

    Required

    Your mobile number. Use the same number you log in with: that is how the app knows the team is yours and shows you the owner features, like favourite players and bidding from your team page.

    • India (+91) is selected. Pick another country code if needed.
    • Must be a valid mobile number, or you see "Please enter a valid phone number".

    Example: +91 98765 00110

  • Keyboard Key

    Required

    The letter the auctioneer presses to pick your team while bidding. Every team needs its own letter, otherwise one key would pick two teams. It is filled in from the first free letter of your team name, and you can change it.

    • One letter, A to Z.
    • N, R, S and U are shown in red. They are reserved for auction controls.
    • The form cannot see which letters other teams picked. If unsure, ask your organizer.

Paying the fee

  • Payment Mode

    Required

    Shown only when the organizer charges a team fee. It lists the ways the organizer accepts payment.

    • Cash: your team is saved now and you pay the organizer in person.
    • Online: the button changes to Proceed to Payment and you pay through Razorpay before the team is saved.
    • Scanner: pay by UPI and upload a screenshot of the payment.

  • Proceed to Payment

    Optional

    With Online, a Payment Terms window opens first: payments go straight to the organizer, who also handles refunds. Select Proceed to open Razorpay checkout. When the payment succeeds you come back to the form and the team is saved as Paid.

    • Closing checkout brings you back with "Payment failed. Please try again." and no team is saved.

  • Organizer UPI ID

    Optional

    With Scanner, the form shows the amount, the organizer’s UPI ID (with a copy button) and their QR code under Scan to Pay. Pay that amount in your UPI app.

  • Payment Screenshot

    Required

    A screenshot of your UPI payment confirmation, so the organizer can match your payment.

    • Needed only for Scanner. Without it you see "Payment Screenshot is required".
    • Wait for "Payment screenshot uploaded successfully!" before you submit.

After you submit

  • View Registered Teams & Players

    Optional

    On the welcome screen after you submit. It opens the auction page, where your team is listed under Teams.

Common mistakes

  • Use the mobile number you log in with as Team Owner Contact. With a different number, the app won’t treat you as the owner.
  • Once submitted, you can’t edit or withdraw the team yourself. Ask the organizer to change or remove it in Manage Teams.
  • Register each team only once. If you open the link again and submit, a second copy of the team is created.
  • "Team registration isn't open for this auction" means the organizer hasn’t opened the link yet. "Team registration is closed" ("The registration deadline has passed.") means the deadline has passed. Contact the organizer in both cases.
  • If you see "Failed to register team. Please try again." more than once, the auction may be out of free team places. Ask the organizer to add your team for you.
