Find, clone and delete your auctions

The dashboard is where every auction you run or play in lives. Three lists, search and filters help you find one quickly. Clone starts a new auction from an existing one, and Delete removes an auction you created.

Quick steps

  1. Open your dashboard. Continue Working lists the auctions you have not finished setting up.
  2. Use My Auctions for auctions you created or co-organize, Joined Auctions for ones you play in, and All Auctions for every auction.
  3. Find an auction by name, organizer, location or auction ID, then narrow it with Ongoing, Upcoming, Completed and the sport menu.
  4. Select Clone auction to start a new season from an old one. Rename the copy, choose what to copy, select Clone, then check its dates.
  5. Select Delete auction and confirm to remove an auction you created. This cannot be undone.

Every field, explained

The three lists

  • My Auctions

    Optional

Every auction you created, plus every auction where another organizer added you as a co-organizer. This is the tab the dashboard opens on.

    • Co-organizer auctions appear once the organizer adds your mobile number under Add Organiser.
    • View on a card opens the auction for editing.
    • Also available as a full page at /my-auctions.
  • Created by you

    Optional

Shown under the title of auctions you created, on the My Auctions tab. Auctions you only co-organize have no label.

  • Joined Auctions

    Optional

Auctions where you are registered as a player, matched by your account or your mobile number.

    • Owning a team does not add an auction here. Only a player registration does.
    • View on a card opens the public auction page, unless you also manage that auction.
    • Also available as a full page at /joined-auctions.
  • All Auctions

    Optional

Every auction on The 12th Men, from every organizer. Use it to look up an auction you were invited to but have not joined yet.

    • Also available as a full page at /all-auctions.
  • Continue Working

    Optional

Up to five of your auctions whose setup is not finished, with the most recently edited first. Select Continue Setup to go back into editing.

    • Completed auctions and auctions whose setup is finished are left out.
    • It always shows the same auctions, whatever you search or filter below it.

Find an auction

  • Find your auction

    Optional

Search the current list. It matches any part of the auction name, organizer name, location or auction ID, in upper or lower case, and updates as you type.

    • To find an auction from a link, paste only its auction ID: the long code after /auctions/ in the link. Pasting the whole link finds nothing.
    • Switching tabs clears the search.

    Example: Badminton

  • Ongoing

    Optional

Auctions that are live right now.

  • Upcoming

    Optional

Auctions that have not started yet, including drafts, auctions with registration open or closed, and paused auctions.

  • Completed

    Optional

    Auctions that have ended.

    • Switching tabs sets the filter back to All.
  • Sport

    Optional

The menu next to the search box. Pick a sport to show only its auctions, or All for every sport. It combines with the status filter and the search.

    • Switching tabs sets it back to All.

    Example: Cricket

  • Sort auctions

    Optional

The filter icon at the end of the search row. On My Auctions, choose Default (live first, then upcoming by start date, then completed), Newest First or Oldest First (by the date the auction was created).

    • All Auctions and Joined Auctions always list live auctions first, then upcoming, then completed.

Clone and delete

  • Clone auction

    Optional

The copy icon on a card. It makes a new auction from this one, so a new season starts with last season’s setup.

    • Shown on auctions you created or co-organize.
    • Always copied: the auction details, dates, bidding rules, budgets, registration settings and form fields, fees and payment details, sponsors and themes.
    • Never copied: bids and results. The copy gets new registration links.
    • You become the organizer of the copy. It starts as a draft (shown as Upcoming).
  • Auction name

    Required

The name of the copy. It starts as “Copy of” followed by the original name; change it before you select Clone.

    • Clone stays disabled while the name is empty.
    • With Players ticked, Clone also stays disabled while players load or when none are selected.
    • After cloning, the copy opens on its Auction Details tab.

    Example: Riverside Premier League 2026

  • What to copy

    Optional

Choose what else goes into the copy. Teams and Player categories start ticked; Players and Co-organizers & staff start unticked.

    • Teams copies each team’s name, logo, owner and shortcut key, with a full purse.
    • Players copies every player, or only the ones you pick: search by name or mobile, filter, and untick anyone to leave out.
    • Copied players start unsold with no team. Registration payments stay with the original auction.
    • If you untick Player categories, copied players have no category.
    • Co-organizers & staff copies the original’s co-organizers and staff roles.
  • Delete auction

    Optional

The bin icon on a card. It deletes the auction after you confirm in the Delete Auction? dialog.

    • Only the organizer who created the auction sees it. Co-organizers can clone but not delete.
    • It works on any auction, including live and completed ones.
    • There is no undo. The auction disappears from every list for you, your co-organizers, players and team owners.
  • Delete Auction?

    Optional

The confirmation dialog. Select Delete to remove the auction, or Cancel to keep it.

Common mistakes

  • Clone copies the original’s dates, including past ones. Set new dates in Auction Details before you open registrations.
  • Players are not copied unless you tick Players. Otherwise share the new registration link so players register again for the new season.
  • Can’t find an auction by its link? Paste only the auction ID (the code after /auctions/), not the whole link.
  • Don’t see an auction you own a team in under Joined Auctions? That tab only lists auctions you joined as a player. Search All Auctions instead.
  • Delete is permanent. To reuse an old auction, clone it instead of deleting and recreating it.
