How to log in, create and switch profiles

Your mobile number is your account, so there is no password. India is selected by default; tap the flag to pick another country.

• The OTP buttons stay disabled until the number is complete (10 digits for India, 9 for the UAE).
• A complete number that is not a real mobile number shows "Please enter a valid phone number".

Sends a 6-digit code to your number by SMS.

• SMS works for India and UAE numbers only. Other countries show "SMS OTP is not supported for your country. Please use WhatsApp OTP."

Sends the same code to your WhatsApp instead. Works for every country.

Type the 6-digit code into the boxes. Each digit moves you to the next box, and pasting the whole code fills all six. The countdown above the boxes shows how long the code stays valid.

• The code is valid for 10 minutes. After that, request a new one.
• A wrong or expired code shows "Invalid verification code. Please try again". Fix the digits and select Submit again.
• Submit stays disabled until all six boxes are filled.

Didn’t get the code? Resend unlocks 30 seconds after the code was sent. It sends a new code on the same channel (SMS or WhatsApp), clears the boxes and restarts the 10-minute timer.

• Only the newest code works once you resend.

Takes you back to Phone Verification to fix a mistyped number.

Shown only the first time a number logs in. Tick it to accept the Terms and Conditions before you can submit.

• New numbers only. Returning numbers do not see it.

One phone number can hold several profiles, so a parent can register their children, or one person can keep separate player identities. After the OTP, pick the profile you want to use.

• With exactly one profile, you skip this screen and go straight in.
• A brand-new number has no profiles yet: select Add Profile to create the first one.
• Not you? Log out takes you back to the start.

Opens the Add a Profile form for another person on this number.

The photo organizers and team owners see on your player card. Tap the picture to choose one.

• Any image file up to 10 MB. Large photos are compressed before upload.
• Missing photo shows "Profile image is required".

The name shown on your profile and player card.

• Up to 50 characters.
• Empty shows "First name is required".

Family name.

• Up to 50 characters.
• Empty shows "Last name is required".

Example: Desai

Pick it from the calendar. On a phone, tap the month and year heading to jump to the birth year first.

• Format DD/MM/YYYY.
• Future dates cannot be picked.
• Two profiles on the same number cannot share the same first name and date of birth: the form shows "User already exists".

Saves the profile and switches you to it straight away. Profiles created later from the profile menu work the same way.

Tap your picture at the top right. The menu shows CURRENT PROFILE and, under SWITCH TO, every other profile on your number. Tap one to switch; the page reloads as that profile.

Opens the Add a Profile form from anywhere in the app.

Opens the Profile page for the profile you are using now.

The bin icon next to a profile asks "Delete Profile?" first. Deleting removes that profile from your number.

• You cannot delete your last profile: create another one first.
• Deleting the profile you are using now logs you out.
• Creating a profile again with the same first name and date of birth brings the deleted one back.

In the menu (the three lines at the top right). Ends your session on this device.

Tap the circle to change the photo.

• JPG, PNG or PDF (the first page is used), up to 10 MB.
• Other files show "Only JPEG, JPG, PNG, PDF formats are allowed."

Your names as players and organizers see them.

• Up to 50 characters.

Optional middle name.

• Up to 50 characters.

Family name.

• Up to 50 characters.

Shown instead of your full name in the profile menu and on the Choose Your Profile screen.

• Up to 30 characters.

The number you log in with. It is shared by every profile on it and cannot be edited here.

• Whole number from 0 to 50.

A link to your CricHeroes player profile, so organizers can check your stats.

• Must start with http:// or https://, otherwise "Please enter a valid URL starting with http:// or https://".

A few lines about you as a player.

• Up to 500 characters.

Trophies, records and teams you have played for.

• Up to 1000 characters.

Saves your changes and shows "Profile updated successfully!". Cancel goes back to the dashboard without saving.

• Disabled until you change something and every required field is filled.
